It's a milestone worth celebrating! This October, Citadel Church of Jacksonville is buzzing with excitement as we commemorate our 15th Pastor & People Anniversary. Fifteen years of spiritual growth, unwavering faith, and connection that continues to thrive—it's a testament to the power of faith and connection. To mark this special occasion, we've planned a series of thrilling events throughout the month, ensuring there's something for everyone in our cherished congregation.

October 1st: Church Clothes Sunday

Let's start the celebration in style! On the first Sunday of October, dust off your finest high church attire, and join us for a grand "Church Clothes" Sunday. It's a chance to showcase your Sunday best as we gather to give thanks and praise for the incredible journey we've undertaken together.

October 8th: Twin Day

Do you have a kindred spirit within our congregation? Bring them along on the second Sunday of October for "Twin Day"! It's a day of laughter and camaraderie as we encourage everyone to come dressed as twins. Get creative, have fun, and revel in the joy of shared experiences.

October 15th: Jersey Sunday

Sports enthusiasts, get ready! On the third Sunday, we're celebrating "Jersey Sunday." Put on your favorite team jersey and represent our shared team camaraderie in the worship service. It's a day where we come together to honor our God, this Christian walk and give honor to the teams and towns that raised us.

October 22nd: Greek/HBCU Sunday

Get ready to showcase your pride and heritage! The fourth Sunday is all about "Greek/HBCU Sunday." Dress up to represent your favorite Greek Organizations and Historically Black Colleges and Universities. It's a day to honor our foundations of excellence rich traditions and cultural diversity within our community.

October 28th: Family Funday at Bruce Park

As the month draws to a close, we're taking our celebrations outdoors! Join us for a Family Funday at Bruce Park from 4-7 pm on October 28th. There will be games, food, laughter, and a chance to bond with your fellow congregants and their families. It's an event you won't want to miss!

October 29th: Virtual Celebration

Our celebration culminates on the fifth Sunday, October 29th, with a special virtual gathering. Even if you can't be with us in person, you can still join in the festivities from the comfort of your home. We'll come together online to reflect on our journey, give thanks, and look ahead to the bright future that awaits us.

Fifteen years of spiritual guidance, growth, and a supportive community – it's a milestone we are immensely proud of.
